The 1st International Photographic Meeting of Kalamata is a great cultural initiative that brings contemporary artistic photography from Greece and around the world to the heart of Messinia. Through exhibitions, lectures, workshops, and creative meetings, it opens a fertile dialogue about the art of the image and its power to tell stories, raise awareness, and inspire.
As the Region of Peloponnese, we consistently support actions that strengthen our cultural identity, promote cooperation, and empower the outward orientation of our creators. With initiatives like this, the Peloponnese becomes a place of inspiration, collaboration, and new artistic perspectives.
