The 1st International Photographic Meeting of Kalamata is another significant cultural event for our city and further proof that Kalamata, with its rich history, unparalleled natural beauty, and vibrant cultural life, can be a point of reference for the Arts and Culture on a national and international level.
Photography is a medium of artistic expression, dialogue, and communication. Through the works of the creators hosted in our city, the public has the opportunity to get to know different perspectives and travel to places and stories that transcend geographical borders.
As the Municipality of Kalamata, we support the initiative of the Kalamata Photographic Group (FOKAL), as well as every initiative that strengthens Culture, the Arts, and the outward orientation of our region.
I hope the 1st International Photographic Meeting of Kalamata becomes an institution that will continue to grow, inspiring creators and viewers.
